The Xpression Classic's medium-density fiber plinth stands on three height-adjustable rubber-damped aluminum cones for enhanced isolation and vibration absorption. The resonance-optimized platter is a sandwich construction utilizing the hub, a fine-balanced aluminum platter, and a cork mat (or supplied optional felt mat), with a low-tolerance chrome-plated stainless-steel axle that runs on a polished ball bearing in a brass bearing housing. The Xpression Classic's quiet running AC motor drives the hub and platter via a flat-ground belt with a two-step pulley, while remaining entirely decoupled from the plinth to reduce vibration transmission and avoid potential electro-mechanical interference, the Xpression Classic is sure to turn heads, impressing eyes and ears alike.
