NAD Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier - C 399 BluOS
The NAD C 399 is the flagship integrated amplifier in NAD's Classic Series, combining high-output HybridDigital nCore amplification with refined digital processing and flexible system expansion. Rated at more than 180 watts per channel, it is designed to drive demanding loudspeakers with authority while maintaining excellent clarity, low noise and precise musical detail.
A broad selection of analogue and digital connections makes the C 399 equally comfortable with televisions, turntables, streamers and traditional hi-fi sources. NAD's modular MDC2 architecture also allows the amplifier to evolve with optional technologies such as BluOS high-resolution music streaming and Dirac Live room correction.

NAD's HybridDigital nCore amplifier platform gives the C 399 the power and control needed for a wide range of loudspeakers. With continuous output rated above 180 watts into both 8-ohm and 4-ohm loads, the amplifier is engineered to preserve dynamics while keeping distortion exceptionally low.
The high-current design remains composed during demanding musical passages, helping deliver strong bass control, clear transients and an open, effortless presentation at both moderate and higher listening levels.

The C 399 is built around a carefully engineered digital signal path designed for wide dynamic range, low noise and accurate stereo imaging. It supports digital audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz, giving high-resolution sources the precision they need to reveal fine textures and spatial detail.
Whether the source is a dedicated digital player, a television or an optional network streaming module, the amplifier is designed to maintain a natural and transparent sonic character.

Two MDC2 expansion slots allow the C 399 to add new capabilities without replacing the entire amplifier. The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module brings BluOS high-resolution streaming, app control and multi-room audio, while also enabling Dirac Live room correction.
Because MDC2 supports two-way communication with the amplifier, compatible processing can be applied across connected sources. This modular approach helps keep the C 399 relevant as listening habits and audio technologies continue to evolve.

HDMI eARC makes it easy to use the C 399 as the audio hub for a television-based entertainment system. For music sources, the amplifier provides optical and coaxial digital inputs, analogue line inputs and a dedicated moving-magnet phono stage with infrasonic filtering.
Two sets of speaker outputs, dual subwoofer connections, Bluetooth with aptX HD and a dedicated headphone amplifier provide additional flexibility for creating a system that suits both everyday listening and serious two-channel audio.
